The Academic Writing Workshop on Outline Arrangement and Topic Selection for Academic Year 2021 has been held on Saturday, April 10, 2021. The event starts at 08.00 WIB to 12.45 WIB through Zoom meeting and YouTube live streaming. This workshop aims to:

  1. Provide information about the process or stages of completion of the Undergraduate Management Program Final Project.
  2. Provide information on guidelines for the preparation of the Final Project.
  3. Provide information about the requirements for completing the Final Project.
  4. Motivating participants to be able to complete the study appropriately immediately and competently.
  5. Providing knowledge and understanding to students majoring in management of FEB Unsoed regarding the procedures for drafting an outline according to their concentration.
  6. Providing expertise and experience to students majoring in FEB Unsoed management regarding the guidelines for selecting topics TA is by its concentration.
  7. Motivating participants to compile an outline according to the provisions and on time.
  8. Providing knowledge and tips to participants regarding the information on topic selection and good discussion.

The event began with several remarks. The first speech was given by the CEO of HMJM FEB Unsoed, namely Renaldi Rizqi F. The second speech was provided by the Representative of the Management Lab, namely Dr. Intan Shaferi, SE., M.Si. Then the last remarks were given by the Dean of FEB Unsoed, namely Prof. Dr. Suliyanto, SE., MM, who at the same time opened the Academic Writing Workshop on Outline Preparation and TA Topic Selection. The next event was the TA Preparation Guidelines as the first session moderated by Dr. Intan Shaferi, SE., M.Sc., followed by a panel presentation by speakers from the first session, namely Dr. Ratno Purnomo, SE., M.Si. Participants were Management students from FEB Unsoed class 2017, 2018, and 2019. Overall, the participants were dominated by Management students from Class 2018.

Dr. Ratno Purnomo, SE., M.Si delivered material related to the process or stages of completing the Undergraduate Management Program Final Project, guidelines for preparing the Final Project, and the requirements for completing the Final Project. As a resource person, he also motivated the participants to finish the study correctly and on time.

In addition to the material presentation, discussion and question and answer sessions were also held. After that, take a break and prepare for the breakout room to proceed to the second session, which is also a sign of the end of this first session.

In the second session of the speakers, moderators, and participants in the breakout room according to their respective concentrations, namely for the concentration of marketing management moderated by Alisa Tri Nawarini, S.E, MBA followed by a presentation of material regarding the preparation of an outline by Dr. Refius Pradipta Setyanto, S.E, M.Si and the selection of the final project topic of marketing management concentration by Dr. Lusi Suwandari, S.E, M.Si. For the concentration of human resource management moderated by Dr. Dwita Darmawati, S.E, M.Si continued with a presentation on the outline preparation by Dr. Siti Zulaikha Wulandari, S.E., M.Si. and the selection of topics for the final project concentration on human resource management by Dr. Ade Irma Anggraeni, S.E, M.Si. For the concentration of financial management moderated by Dr. Rio Dhani Laksana, S.E, M.Sc continued with the presentation of material regarding the preparation of the outline by Dr. Ary Yunanto, S.E, M.Si and the selection of the final project topic for the concentration of financial management by Dr. Dian Purnomojati, M.Sc. For the concentration of operational management moderated by Daryono, S.E, MAB followed by a material presentation regarding the preparation of an outline by Drs. Bambang Sunarko, M.M. and the selection of the final project topic of operational management concentration Daryono, S.E, MAB. And for economic education moderated by Cut Misni Mulasiwi, S.Pd., M.Pd, followed by a material presentation regarding the preparation of an outline by Drs. Jaryono, M.Si, and the final project topic selection by Lina Rifda Naufalin, S.Pd., M.Pd.

For the session for preparing the outline for the final assignment, the resource person delivered material related to the preparation and making of the outline, outline topics, gave an example of the outline, received the criteria for the outline, and shared tips and tricks in drafting the outline. For the topic selection session the final assignment provided material on procedures selection of topics by the concentration. Also, the resource persons provide tips regarding the search for journals that can be used as a reference source for the research being carried out.

In each of these sessions, event participants are also allowed to give the speakers questions through the chat column in the zoom application on the sidelines of providing material and at the end of the session.
