An FEB Alumni Briefing activity was held for the period March 2022 on Friday, March 11, 2022, with the theme “Career Preparation to Get Ready for an Impactful Career”. This activity was organized by the Career Development Laboratory and Alumni Center FEB Unsoed in collaboration with the Alumni family of the Unsoed Faculty of Economics and Business (KAFE). The organizers of this event want to help alumni be ready for the world of work and get them ready for the jobs they want to have.

This activity was attended by 98 participants. It began at 9:00 a.m. WIB.The event was hosted by Samini as the MC. The activity began with the opening by the MC and continued with the reading of the rules by the MC. After that, it was continued by singing the national anthem, Indonesia Raya. Then the activities continued with speeches. The first speech was delivered by Ramita Kholifaturrohmah, S.Pd., M.M. as chairman of the committee for this activity. The second speech was delivered by Prof. Wiwiek Rabiatul Adawiyah, M.Sc., Ph.D. as the dean of FEB Unsoed. Last but not least, Dr. Dwita Darmawati, the head of the Career Development Laboratory and Alumni Center, made a short statement about the Treacer Study. She also gave a short explanation about it.

Then the activity was continued by filling out the material in each breakout room according to the material selected by the participants. In this activity, there are 7 breakout rooms consisting of materials, New Entrepreneurial Preparation, Further Studies, Personality Tests and Career Choices, Interviews, CVs, and Application Letters.

In breakout room 1, the material presented was Preparation for New Entrepreneurs, which was delivered by Mickail Rana Wijaya with moderator Mrs. Aldila Krisnaresanti, S.Pd., M.Pd., M.Si. The material presented is related to the concept of entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial characteristics, entrepreneurial functions, factors that influence entrepreneurship, and steps in doing entrepreneurship.

In breakout room 2, the material presented was Advanced Studies, delivered by Mrs. Kiky Srirejeki and moderator Mrs. Karina Odia Julialevi, S.E., M.Si., Ak., CA. In his presentation, the speaker shared tips for continuing his education to a higher level, then explained how to get a scholarship, and also shared his experiences when he was going to continue his education to a higher level.

In breakout room 3, the material presented was Personality Test and Career Choice, which was delivered by Mrs. Ramita Kholifaturohmah, S.Pd., M.Pd. with moderator Amalia Fauzia Hayya. In this material, the presenter first conveys information related to career choice through a personality test. The presenters also conveyed the career categories that alumni could choose from. As well as taking the MBTI personality test.

In breakout room 4, the material presented was an interview delivered by Mrs. Dwita Aprillia Floresti, S.E., M.Si, with moderator Faizah Nada Rahmadani. This material presents the definition of a job interview, things that need to be explored when conducting an interview, and things that need to be considered when conducting an interview.

In breakout room 5, the material presented was an interview delivered by Mrs. Monica Rosiana, S.E., M.Si with moderator Rindi. This material is presented regarding what things need to be prepared in conducting interviews, the causes of failure in interviews, and how to overcome anxiety and nervousness during interviews.

In breakout room 6, the material presented was a CV and application letter submitted by Ms. Cut Misni Mulasiwi, S.Pd., M.Pd., with moderator Vivi. There is a lot of information in this breakout room about how to get a job and what to think about when writing a cover letter, as well as the different types of CVs.

In breakout room 7, the material presented was a CV and an application letter submitted by Mrs. Dr. Dwita Darmawati, S.E., M.Sc., with moderator Wiwit Prihatini. The material presented is related to self-branding in the CV, content in the CV, and mistakes made in making an offline CV. Then comes the material related to self-branding in job interviews and also things that must be considered in the interview.

After delivering the material and leading the discussion session in the breakout room, participants and presenters went back to the main room to continue the next part of the meeting, which was to hear from people who had been in each breakout room. Then it was continued by filling in the attendance for participants and the event was closed by the MC.
