The vision of the Magister Economic:
In 2030 MIE is a Masters Study Program that excels in the development of Economics that is relevant to resource management by local wisdom.
The mission of the Magister Economic:
1) Creating graduates who have competencies in the fields of Resource Economics and Regional Development, Public Economics and Regional Finance, and Sharia Economics and Finance;
2) Creating related quality research products with the fields of Resource Economics and Regional Development, Public Economics and Regional Finance, as well as Sharia Economics and Finance to support the development of science and the implementation of regional economic development;
3) Assisting and serving the public, private sector, and government in making economic decisions as a form of community service.
Main Competencies:
1) Creating Masters in Economics graduates who have competencies in the fields of Resource Economics and Regional Development, Public Economics and Regional Finance, and Sharia Economics and Finance;
2) Creating superior research in the field of Economics,
3) Apply theory and research results and methods of solving economic problems in the community, private sector, and government.

Graduate Profile:
Economist: A person who understands economics theoretically and empirically and can apply it in practitioner activities.
Analyst: A person who has expertise in analyzing economic and socio-economic phenomena based on economics’ theoretical and empirical experiences.
Practitioner: A person who can apply economics empirically in Resource Economics and Regional Development; Public Economics and Regional Finance; and Sharia Economics and Finance according to their field of expertise.
Entrepreneur: A person who carries out entrepreneurial activities characterized by being smart or gifted in recognizing new products, determining new production methods, arranging operations management for new product procurement, marketing them, and managing their operations’ capital.
