On Monday, September 28, 2020, the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Economics and Business, Jenderal Soedirman University, especially the Management Accounting Class Lecturer Forum held a Public Lecture with the theme “Management Accounting on Social Enterprise” with Mr. Iman Pribadi, SE., MBA as a resource person. He is the CEO of a Fairbanc company and has various experiences working in the financial industry including KPMG and CIMB. Moderated by Mrs. Novita Puspasari, SE., M.Sc., Ak., CA. one of the lecturers in the Accounting Department, FEB Unsoed.
Public Lecture is attended by students who take Introductory Business courses and lecturers from the Accounting Department. Beginning with a speech from the Head of the Accounting Department, Mr. Yudha Aryo Soedibyo, Ph.D., Ak., CA., ACPA. and was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Jenderal Soedirman University, Mr. Prof. Dr. Suliyanto, SE., MM.
This public lecture discusses the definition and background of a social enterprise. It also discussed whether the start-up industry was included in the social enterprise category. As well as an explanation of Fairbanc as a social enterprise based company. Described the products and technology owned by Fairbanc, as well as the role of management accounting in the industry managed by Fairbanc.
The social roles of the Free Financing facilities provided by Fairbanc include: empowering women, reducing poverty and promoting the sharia economy. After the material presentation by the speakers, it was continued with a discussion session. The event was then closed with a group photo session.
