Marketing Training “English for Sales and Marketing”

FEB foreign language lab chaired by Dr. Dona Primasari, SE., M.Si held a Marketing Training activity with MSME actors in Banyumas Regency with the theme “English for sales and marketing”. The activity was held on October 14, 2022, at the Foreign Language Lab, Faculty of Economics and Business, Jenderal Sudirman University. This event was opened by the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs Mr. Yudha Aryo Sudiby, Ph.D. and continued with the presentation of material by our presenters, namely Dr.Eliada Herwiyanti, M.Si, Ak, and Dr. Poppy Dian Indira Kusuma, M.Sc., Ak.

This theme was chosen because it considers the importance of improving foreign language skills for MSME actors in the Banyumas Regency. As we know, various kinds of products and services can easily penetrate the world market with just one click. This is what business people must realize, especially MSME actors who drive the wheels of sales and marketing at both national and international levels. Language limitations can be one of the biggest obstacles that can hold back the process, for this reason, it is necessary to hold training related to improving sales and marketing skills, especially in English. It is hoped that the “English for sales and marketing” training will be able to boost and motivate Banyumas MSME actors in improving their English language skills to support the process of product marketing activities in reaching the international arena.
