To build self-branding before entering the world of work/career, the Faculty of Economics & Business Unsoed held a Public Lecture on Personal Branding for Career Preparation which took place at the Lab Building Floor 6, Monday (28/11). This public lecture presented Practitioners as resource persons Vika Himawanti Suprapto, SE, C.PS (Founder & Director of VC Tama Academy).
Also present, the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and the Deputy Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, Heads of Departments and Secretary of the Department, Educators, and Students in the FEB Unsoed. Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Yudha Aryo Sudibyo, S.E. M.Sc., Ph.D., Ak, in his speech, said that a person has competence. Still, some things must be developed (Soft Skills), in terms of Teamwork, comparing self-ability, and writing a CV (Curriculum Vitae) for entering the career world. He concluded that through this public lecture, we could build personal branding that reflects our competence and credibility.
Vika Himawanti Suprapto, SE, C.PS, in her presentation regarding the need for workers in the modern business world who are expected to have skills, tenacity, high discipline, and an attitude of service. However, it is also necessary to prepare yourself to increase values such as Personal Branding, developing strategies, competencies, she also gives tips & tricks for Writing Application Letters and CVs, and facing Interviews.
