On Wednesday, September 2, 2020, Accounting Department, Faculty of Economics and Business UNSOED held a Paraphrase and Mendeley Training Webinar. The webinar which was initiated by the Accounting Department Research Team started at 08.00 WIB by Moderator Dr. Hijroh Rokhayati, M.Sc, Ak, CA, which was later opened by Yudha Aryo Sudibyo, M.Sc, Ak, CA, Ph.D as Chair of the Accounting Department of FEB Unsoed. This event is a form of substitute for routine accounting majors ahead of the new semester which is usually carried out in person or offline, but due to the ongoing Covid 19 pandemic, this seminar routine event is replaced with an online method, precisely using the Zoom Meeting application.
This event consisted of two sessions; the first session began with a Paraphrase Training delivered by Novita Puspasari, M.Sc, Ak, CA, and the next session was Mendeley Training by Ratu Ayu Sriwulandari, SE, M.Sc, the two speakers is a lecturer in the Accounting Department of FEB Unsoed. The Paraphrase and Mendeley Training Webinar was attended by around 185 undergraduate students of Accounting at FEB Unsoed, most of whom were students who were ready to take final assignments and needed paraphrase and mendeley training.
The event which lasted for about 3 hours was followed enthusiastically by students, it was hoped that students could apply the knowledge from this training in doing their final project, so that the expectations and goals expected by the accounting department from this training were the low plagiarism rate for final assignments and scientific articles produced by students majoring in accounting FEB Unsoed can be achieved.
