On Tuesday, October 13, 2020, the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes of Central Java II in collaboration with the UNSOED Tax Center, the Cooperative and SME Laboratory and the FEB UNSOED Accounting Department held a Webinar with the topic “Supporting MSEs in Pandemic Period: Tax and Strategic Perspectives”. The speakers for this webinar are Yamti Rakhmani, SE., MM, as Head of the Service Guidance and Consultation Section of the Regional Office of the DJP Central Java II and Novita Puspasari, M.Sc., Ak., CA who is a lecturer in the Department of Accounting FEB UNSOED and also the Chair of the Cooperative Laboratory and UMKM (Cooperative and SMEs Innovation Hub).
The event began with remarks by the Head of the Accounting Department, Mr. Yudha Aryo Soedibyo, Ph.D., Ak., CA., ACPA and was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Jenderal Soedirman University, Mr. Prof. Suliyanto, MM, moderated by Pretisilla Kartika Putri, SE., M.Si. In his speech, Prof. Suliyanto emphasized the importance of information related to tax incentives for micro and small businesses because the use of tax incentives during this pandemic was still small.
The participants of this webinar consisted of Micro and Small Business players in Banyumas Regency and its surroundings, plus students and lecturers in Taxation classes. This Public Lecture discusses the economic conditions in the SME industry during the COVID 19 pandemic as well as tax incentives for the SME industry that can be utilized to the fullest by SME entrepreneurs in Banyumas Regency. The event was continued with a question and answer session and discussion about taxation for the SME industry and ended with a group photo session.
