Department of Accounting, Faculty of Economics and Business, Jenderal Soedirman University held a training on the Compilation of RPS using the Case Based Learning and Project Based Learning Methods on Tuesday, 12 May 2021 using the online media Zoom Meetings. This training activity was attended by all lecturers of the Accounting Department, FEB Unsoed.
The event was moderated by the Corprodi Department of Accounting, FEB, namely Dr. Laeli Budiarti, SE., M.Sc., Ak., CA and as a resource person is the Head of the FEB Accounting Department, namely Yudha Aryo Soedibyo, SE., M.Sc., Ph.D, Ak., CA., ACPA.
The purpose of holding this training is to improve the quality of learning, the achievement of the IKU University, support the Free Learning program, equalize courses and national and international accreditation. On this occasion, he also explained the difference between case-based and project-based learning methods and how to compile the RPS. Practices on how to compile RPS were shown through hands-on exercises which were followed with enthusiasm by all participants. This was proven by the dozens of questions asked by the participants to confirm the participants’ understanding of the explanations from the speakers.
Not only preparing the RPS, but in this workshop it was also explained how to prepare complementary documents that must be included in the preparation of the RPS. For RPS with a case-based learning method, complementary documents that must be included in the RPS include Student Activity Sheets, individual performance appraisal forms in groups, assessment forms for presentation of group case studies, and learning evaluation forms. Meanwhile, RPS with project-based learning methods must attach complementary documents including Student Activity Sheets, stages of learning scenarios, student activity assessment scales and learning evaluation forms.
