In updating knowledge so that graduate competencies have competitiveness, the Unsoed Faculty of Economics & Business held a Public Lecture on The Future of Management Accounting, which took place on Friday, the 6th floor of the Lab Building (18/11). This public lecture was presented by Dr. Zaroni, S.E., Ak., M.Si., MSM CiSCP, CFMP, CMILT (Finance & Human Capital Director of PT Maruco Indonesia –Minang Bisnis). Also present were the Dean of FEB Unsoed, Educators, and FEB Unsoed Students.
Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Unsoed Prof. Wiwiek Rabiatul Adawiyah M.Sc., Ph.D., in her opening remarks, revealed that going through this public lecture in majors, specifically Study Programs to update knowledge so that our graduates have international competitiveness. Through this public lecture, students can provide input and be able to provide value for the Accounting Department and increase the competitiveness of graduates for Alumni, she said.
Dr. Zaroni, S.E.,Ak.,M.Sc, in his presentation, conveyed that it was related to changes in the business to increase global competitiveness in the rapid progress of digital technology. Then it also gives the role of management accountants as a form of accountability in producing financial information companies need for internal & external reporting, as well as gathering information managers need for planning, controlling, improving, and decision-making activities.
