On Friday, 19 August 2022, the Faculty of Economics and Business UNSOED and PT. PNM Investment Management implemented a Cooperation Agreement covering the Implementation of the Student Internship Program and the Capital Market Investment Education Program at the Conference Hall on the 6th Floor of the Integrated Laboratory of FEB UNSOED. Also present were the Dean of FEB UNSOED and the Deputy Deans, President Director of PT. PNM Investment Management (Dr. Ir. Bambang Siswaji, M.Si) and Chairman of OJK Purwokerto (Riwin Mirhadi, MBA).
In her speech, Prof. Wiwiek Rabiatul Adawiyah, M.Sc., Ph.D.; as the Dean of Faculty of Economics and Business UNSOED, said that the implementation of the Cooperation Agreement with PNM Investment Management could provide benefits for students related to internships and increase students’ better to understand the world of investation. Dr. Ir. Bambang Siswaji, M.Si as the President Director of PT. PNM Investment Management also stated that the collaboration between PNM Investment Management and FEB Sudirman University is strategic enough to be used as a place for internships and to increase student investment literacy, especially Mutual Fund Products. This is because, as part of the millennial generation, students will hold the baton of leadership and the progress of the Indonesian nation. Moreover, along with the development of information technology, mutual fund investment activities are currently very market-friendly. Through online applications, mutual fund transactions are effortless and can be done flexibly anywhere and anytime. The implementation of the Cooperation Agreement was followed by the Conference “Blessing Investment in Sharia Mutual Funds,” organized by Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, OJK, and PNM Investment Management.
